Biography: Patrick B. Cavanaugh is a partner in the Cavanaugh Law Firm and has a specialized Social Security Disability Law practice. He is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). He has presented as a speaker and expert in the area of Social Security Disability Law at multiple seminars and venues.
A recurring presenter at the National Business Institute, Continuing Legal Education seminar on Social Security Disability Law.
He is a former trial attorney with the Douglas County Public Defender, representing indigent clients in criminal and civil commitment matters.
An Omaha native, he is a graduate of the Loyola University of Chicago (B.A., 1994) and Creighton University School of Law (J.D., 1998). He was admitted to the Nebraska Bar in 1999, and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. He is a member of the Omaha Bar Association, the Nebraska State Bar Association.

Kathleen has over 30 years of healthcare experience in the areas of practice management, medical staff management and document management and brings her knowledge of healthcare to the firm. She has served on the Board of the National Association of Medical Staff Services and was the first person certified as a Medical Staff Services Professional in the State of Nebraska. She holds degrees in Literature from Northwest Missouri State University and Business Administration from Bellevue University and graduate hours in Health Care Administration.
